The Republic of Serbia, from two days ago is the owner of 29.5% of the Novosti's shares, instead of the union of Serbia and Montenegro. The ownership has already been registered in the Central register of papers of value, and the Supreme trade court, which supervised the trial of shares' property rights, still haven't reached the final decision. Since five ministers of the Government of Serbia, which we asked yesterday under what grounds the ownership had been registered, do not recall that this body made any decisions in the last few months, it is assumed that this has been done as a part of approved information about the status of immobility which use Novosti, Borba and Printing office of "Borba", on the Government's assemly on February, 16th.
It was then that the Government of Serbia indebted the public solicitors' office to register in the public books and in the evidence of immovables the property over these companies which are on the Serbian territory. The Ministry of commerce, on the same assembly was questioned with a task to organize work of revision of the value and ownership structure of capital and titles of shares of these companies, in order to determine the ownership of the state's capital. The day before yesterday this intention of the Government was realized and Serbia became the owner of 29.5% of the shares of the union of SCG, by a short cut.
However, it will be interesting if the Supreme trade court reaches a decision which would confirm the decision of the Trade court, and this is that 29.5% of the shares of this newspapers be in the ownership of the states' union of SCG.
Jelisaveta Vasilic, Vlade Divac' lawyer, who intends to buy Novosti, says that this change of titles of property doesn't affect Divac' plan.
