Export of services in ICT sector continues recording highest growth rate

The export of services in the ICT sector in Serbia has continued recording the biggest growth rate year after year, so between 2012, when it amounted to only EUR 375 million, to 2023, it increased nearly 10 times, reaching EUR 3.44 billion, announced the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications.

– The intensive growth of the export of services in the ICT sector continued in 2024 as well. In the first quarter of 2024, the export of ICT services amounted to EUR 917 million, which is 17% more than in the first quarter of 2023, and more than in the entire year 2017 – it is said on the website of the ministry.

It is added that “the realization of the intensive activities which aim to have the total export of services in the ICT sector reach an amount of around EUR 4 billion by the end of this year will continue.”
