Auction sale of BEK on April, 26th

At the new auction sale of Zrenjanin's BEK, which will be held on April, 26th, the starting price of this company will be 48.2 millions dinars. It is being offered for sale two production halls of around 11.000 m2, two warehouses and two slaughter houses. According to the data of Agency for privatization, BEK has debts of around 800 millions dinars.

The production in BEK has been stopped, and 349 workers, out of 1.000 of emploees in the meat industry, is now fictivley employed. As the most serious buyer is mentioned "Pro-Bekom" company, which in prepairation for buying 70% of the community capital in BEK, has already agreed with a few larger trusties to buy off more than 200 millions of debt of this Zrenjanin's factory. As the legal representer of "Pro-Bekom", Dejan Papic, estimates that the announcing licitation of BEK will be successfull.
