Siemens represented new solution for wireless Internet

Siemes company represented the most modern device for usage of wireless Internet in the vimaks domain (WIMAX) technology, which has a base station and a consumers' device for wireless connecting of the device.

Siemens solution allows mobile and fixed operators and Internet providers to get a broad wireless access to city and village areas which don't have built infrastructure, within several kilometers.

Internal unit of Siemens device allows wireless connecting of external devices, like computers, PDA devices, mobile phones and others, by the standard 802.16.

Presentation was held within regional conference about informational technologies SEE Broadband 2006, and as announced by the representatives of the Siemens company, a complete solution within the area of wimax technoloy is from now on reachable on the Serbian market as well.
