(Veliki Radinci)

Milorad Milosevic from Kamnik in Slovenia, born in Veliki Radinci near Sremska Mitrovica, plans to have an eco-village built in this part of Fruska Gora. The future village should comprise 20 log cabins for rental, an artificial lake, restaurants, several golf courses, winery with a wine cellar, as well as a space for business meetings. There should also be a 5-kilowatt wind generator to supply the eco-village with electricity, Politika daily writes.

Milosevic plans to implement this project in association with investors from Slovenia and expects the number of guests from that country to be the largest.

- Veliki Radinci is an ideal place for such tourist project because there is already a sports airport in the village. It is most important to create new jobs so that young people can stop leaving the village - says Milosevic.

The eco-village will be built in the place called Sumljanska Glavica, and it is already included in the Master Plan for Fruska Gora Development. The City Management of Sremska Mitrovica has also given its consent to Milosevic.

This man born in Srem lives in Slovenia since he was fifteen, but he is still engaged in the agricultural production in Veliki Radinci where he owns 240 ha of land. He also started building a grain silo on that land.

- I plan to have an Olympic swimming pool, a fitness and wellness center and tennis courts built near the village. About 15 jobs will be created at the silo, and there should also be new jobs at future catering facilities. I will organize an agricultural fair at the sports airport in Veliki Radinci as early as in September. There will be about 20 exhibitors from Slovenia, as well as Ferguson from England - Milosevic says and adds that he has so far invested about EUR 2 million in projects in Veliki Radinci.
