Low "Global Energy" to build two mini hydroelectric power stations on the Mlava River , worth about 1 million euros

Nis company Global Energy plans to build two mini hydro power plants on the river Mlava in the municipality of Žagubica.

The draft of the Plan for detailed regulations for the area of hydro power plants 'Koviljaca' and 'Kozji grb' has been created and put on public display.

As Vlada Milosevic, from the Directorate for the construction of municipality of Žagubica, told for "eKapija" , hydro power plants will be built in Gornjačka Gorge, upstream from the Gornjak monastery .

- The distance between the two hydro power plants is planned to be 1 to 2 km and they will be of different strengths, so that the bigger one, 'Koviljaca', will the have the capacity of 960 and 'Kozji grb' 560 kilowatts.

According to what Milosevic's said, the exact value of the investment is not yet known, but it will probably be around 1 million euros.
