Bridge in Karakaj Near Zvornik to Close to Vehicles of Over Five Tons

The road bridge which connects Zvornik with Serbia in the settlement of Karakaj will have to be closed for vehicles which weigh over five tons, because damage has been noticed during a technical inspection, the Srna news agency learns.

The technical inspection which was carried out by the PE Roads of Serbia as per an order from the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of Serbia, determined the need for an urgent reconstruction of the bridge due to the weakening of the load-bearing capacity of the structure.
