Telekom Srbija to appoint corporate agent on August 20

Telekom Srbija has announced an open competition for the appointment of corporate agent to render financial services related to the securities issued by this telecommunication company. The main criteria, as mentioned in the ad, are the price and the bidder's references. Bids will be received until 10 AM on August 13th.

The public opening of bids will take place on August 15th and the ordering party will make the decision on the most favorable bid within five days from the day the bids are opened. As the government officials announced earlier, the shares of Telekom should enter the stock exchange in autumn, after being distributed among the people of Serbia.

The citizens who have already obtained free shares of the Petroleum Industry of Serbia and Nikola Tesla Airport will get 15 percent of shares of Telekom, whereas former and current employees will receive 6.5 percent of shares. Aside from the state, of which ownership stake will amount to 58.5 percent upon the distribution of shares, another big shareholder of Telekom is Greece's OTE, which has 20 percent of shares in its possession.
