Reconstruction of Obrenovac-Sabac road kicks off in October 2011 - Works worth about EUR 11 million

Reconstruction of Obrenovac-Sabac road should commence in October 2011. The project investor is the public company Putevi Srbije, while the funds are provided from a loan granted by the European Investment Bank (EIB).

On the main route section M-19 (from the crossroads at the entrance to TENT B to Debrc), LOT 20, about 11 kilometers will be reconstructed. Works on this section are entrusted to Vojvodinaput Pancevo and Sabac-based Inter-kop. The value of these works is RSD 400 million.

Reconstruction of the section from the 59th to the 75th kilometer on the main route M-19, LOT 21, is also in the pipeline, as well as the construction of a roundabout in Sabac (Beogradska and Marsala Tita streets). These works are estimated at RSD 700 million and will be carried out by Strabag, Inter-kop and PZP Zajecar.
