The Montenegrin ministry explained that, from that point, all coal procurement for EPS from RUP would take place based on bilateral cooperation of the two companies, thereby avoiding unnecessary third-party and mediator costs, reduce the possibility of manipulation and achieve maximum benefits for companies.
They also added that that cooperation principle would start being implemented after EPS’s current agreements on the procurement of coal expired.
The cooperation of EPS and RUP is continuation of the recent trilateral meeting in Belgrade, where Mujovic talked about regional cooperation in the field of energy with the ministers of energy and mining of Serbia and Republika Srpska, Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic and Petar Djokic.
The Montenegrin ministry said that the state and the competent ministry intended for other countries of the region to also get included in regional talks about energy.
