Final work on 'Yura Shin Won' Factory in Nis


The Mayor of Nis, Milos Simonovic, has visited today 'Yura Shin Won' factory in the working zone of Donje Medjurovo, where final work is conducted on construction of this object. Production plan on 13.000 m2 of Yura Shin Won factory is a new investment of the sister company of Korean 'Yura'. The new factory, which is also manufacturing car industry parts, will hire around 300 people in September. 'Yura Shin Won' manufactures and sells half-conductors and car parts and it was founded in 1982, with head quarters in Seul.
The Mayor, Simonovic said, that he was extremely pleased that after exactly three years since he has become the Mayor, he had opportunity to visit another new factory built according planned deadlines, with Nis based contractors.
-It is extremely important that foreign investors showed that they had trust in the city of Nis and city administration, said Simonovic, pointing out that it was very important that the new factory would have a closed production process from the goods to the final product, and that 15% of copper production from RTB 'Bor' would be used in manufacture of cables for the car industry, in the new Nis based factory.
He also said that new investments opened quality job positions and that in this way a positive economic industrial future was created for the citizens of Nis.
