Macedonia on CNN. European Agency for Reconstruction allotted 300,000 EUR to Macedonia for promotion of country on American TV station CNN. Within the period of three months, that TV station will broadcast videos for promotion of tourist locations, culture and architecture of Macedonia, its natural resources and investment opportunities 253 times. "This promotion will enable economic development, higher employment rate, development of tourism and foreign investments" – says Macedonian Government. The promotion of the same type, thanks to European means, have already been realized on CNN by Bulgaria, Croatia and Montenegro. The data show that the advertisements were useful and that the number of tourists in these countries rose, as well as foreign investments.
