The Managing Board of Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade has made the decision to supplement the agenda for an emergency assembly of shareholders, which will be held on July 27th. In addition to the discussion about the decision on the profit distribution, which was already announced earlier, it will also be the occasion to discuss the decision on changing the price list of the airport services, prescribing the reduction of landing fee that the airport in Surcin charges to airlines.
As Director of Nikola Tesla Airport Velimir
Radosavljevic announced earlier, a constant rise in the number of flights and passengers has opened up a possibility for us to lower the prices of services, and it was then speculated that the decrease would amount to about 7 percent.
According to the words of Mr. Radosavljevic, this price decrease will be in the interest of passengers, and it will also contribute to making the domestic airport more attractive to new companies and the introduction of new flights. In the first half of the year, the airport served 1.34 million passengers, 20.1% more than in the same period last year.
The number of landings and takeoffs in the period January-June 2011 amounted to 20,983, 6.4 percent more than in the first half of 2010.
