International Fair of Tourism - IFT 2006 in Belgrade from April, 19th to 22nd

International Fair of Tourism, IFT, 2006, will be held from April, 19th-22nd in Belgrade and it will gather more than 700 exhibitors from over 50 different countries. On the area of 15.000 ms, 108 domestic and foreign tour operators will represent more than 50.000 arrangements for destinations in 60 countries, and the organizers expect that the events at the fair will be visited by around 7.000 of business visitors and around 50.000 consumers.

Basic subject of this year's Fair of tourism will be support to domestic tourism and promotion of hunting and fishing tourism.

Ministry of trade and tourism will for the first time publicaly represent the Strategy of tourism development in Serbia, but also possibilities of village tourism and investment projects which have been given support of the Government. Touristic organization of Serbia will participate with the programs usually represented at the world fairs, and Ministry of culture will afirm roman heritage, archeological findings and Serbian fortresses. The Ministry of Serbian community abroad provided a stand on which around 40 tour operators would meet Serbia.
