"Srbijateks" company on May, 25th, 2006 goes on auction, Department store in Belgrade will be also offered

Agency for privatization of Serbia announced that on auction on May, 25th, 2006 will be offered 70% of the capital of trade company "Srbijateks" from Belgrade, by the starting price of 276 millions dinars.

The total value of the capital which is getting privatized is evaluated at 1.15 billion dinars, that is 13.2 millions eur, and the minimum of investments which the buyer has to invest into the company is 17.3 millions dinars. The deposit for participation at the auction for buying "Srbijateks" is 138 millions dinars or 1.6 million eur, and the most significant property of the company is the Department store in Belgrade of around 6.500 m2 of area and stores in Belgrade, Kikinda, Pozega, and Becej. The total business profit of this company in 2005 was around 1.86 million eur, and the expenses 2.2 millions eur.

"Srbijateks" has 234 workers, and the deadline for applying for participation at the auction is May, 17th, 2006.
