State Negotiating About German Investment in Vranje – Investment Worth EUR 200 Million and Employment of 1,500 People Considered

The president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has stated that there are negotiations with a large German investor about an investment of EUR 200 million in Vranje and the employment of 1,500 people.

– I can’t yet name the investor because we are having negotiations about a huge investment, the biggest so far in Vranje, of over EUR 200 million, which also envisages the employment of around 1,500 workers – Vucic said while visiting the gynecology-obstetrics department of the General Hospital in Vranje.

He said that the plan was for the investor to build a new factory in Vranje, and not to use the existing industrial facilities.

German companies, according to him, “always come to Serbia to stay in that market for a long time.”
