EPS to announce tender for procurement of bucket wheel excavator in August - Investment worth EUR 15 million

The Electric Power Company of Serbia (EPS) announced that it would publish a tender for bids for the acquisition of a bucket wheel excavator (BWE), with the capacity of 4,800 cml/h, by the end of August at the latest. That BWE should be put in operation within next two or three years.

The estimated value of BWE is EUR 15 million, and EPS will finance the procurement from its own sources.

The bucket wheel excavator will be used at the coal mine in Kolubara, in the location of Tamnava Western Field.
