Bambi-Banat pays EUR 4.5 million dividend to shareholders

The Shareholders' Assembly of the Pozarevac-based confectioner Bambi-Banat has made a decision to distribute the company's profits from 2008 and 2009 among the employees as their share in the profit, while the major portion of the profit turned last year will be paid to shareholders as a dividend.

In that way, every shareholder who enjoyed that status on June 27th will receive a dividend in the gross amount of RSD 1,260 per share, that is, the company will pay its shareholders a total of RSD 444.8 million.

Bambi registered a business revenue of RSD 7.5 billion last year (21.1 percent more than in 2009), while its net profit amounted to RSD 556 million (2.8 times more than in 2009). The Shareholders' Assembly also appointed new administrative bodies and made a decision to purchase its own shares.
