Transfera to Take Part in Reconstruction of Navigation Lock of Hydro Power Plant Djerdap 2

Transfera has joined forces with the German company DSD Noell GmbH, which will carry out the reconstruction of the navigation lock at the Hydro Power Plant Djerdap 2, built on the Danube, and has become its exclusive logistics partner on this infrastructure project. This partnership combines Transfera’s strong logistics support and integrated solutions and the expertise of DSD Noell in the field of hydromechanical equipment, and the cooperation has also been made official through the import of the first shipment and outsize cargo for the reconstruction.

The reconstruction of the navigation lock on the Hydro Power Plant Djerdap 2 will bring numerous benefits, such as an increase in the capacity of vessels handled at the navigation lock and a reduction in unplanned navigation delays and halts, which will lead to considerable time savings and have a direct impact on the further development of water traffic in Serbia and the region.
