- The Italian company Stile Italiano is going to open two footwear factories in Serbia, one of which will be situated in Rusko Selo, while the other will be in Kikinda - Eugenio Depoli, the company owner, announced yesterday, specifying that the factory in Rusko Selo would employ about 50 workers, whereas about 300 people would get a job at the Kikinda-based factory.

- Stile Italiano has factories in Romania, and my business wish is to relocate part of the production capacities to Serbia. I have chosen the municipality of Kikinda. The factory in Rusko Selo is completely ready, and we currently negotiate on the rental of the facility of former automobile dealer in Kikinda - said Depoli.

As he explained, the only reason why the production has not started yet is because the company has not received a quality control attestation certificate for the machines currently situated in Nis.

- Although these machines are produced in Italy, in accordance with the EU standards, they had to be verified, but that process takes unreasonably long time. As soon as they are returned from Nis, the factory in Rusko Selo will be put in operation - Depoli said and expressed gratitude to the representatives of Kikinda for quickly issuing all permits and documents that were necessary to start footwear production in that municipality.
