Space Museum in Novi Sad First Technical Museum of Its Type in Region – Extraordinary Interactive Events

The Space Museum opened in Novi Sad on December 1. That is the first technical museum of its type in the region, and the program within the museum is adapted to all ages. In addition to the exhibits, the visitors have the opportunity to experience the extraordinary interactive content.

Rockets, telescopes, satellites, modern space suits and multimedia content are just part of the offer of the first Space Museum in the region. It is located on the Petrovaradin Fortress, and in under a month, over a thousand curious visitors have sailed into the infinite space.

The questions are numerous and, for that reason, the program is adapted to all ages. The visitors have the opportunity to enjoy a unique combination of the rustic and the modern, but also to take part in workshops and interactive lectures which are closely related with astronomy and space engineering. In addition to that, you can send various messages into space.

Soon, we will be able to enjoy the contents of the Space Museum in yet another location on the Petrovaradin Fortress, where the “Tunel” club is currently located. The entire space will resemble the interior of a space ship. The visitors will have the opportunity to see a ride through space, VR projections, various planets.

For individual and family visits, the Space Museum is open on Fridays, from 1-5pm, and on weekends from 10am-6pm. For now, the work days are reserved for organized, announced group visits.

This year, Serbia won third place at the European satellite making tournament, which was held in Italy. Next year, the world tournament is to follow and it will be realized in Serbia.
