Program for Adaptation to Changed Climate Conditions with Action Plan Adopted

The Government of the Republic of Serbia has adopted the Program for Adaptation to Changed Climate Conditions with an Action Plan.

As the government announced, this document is an analysis of the eight-month changes in the climate and scenarios of its future changes, an analysis of the impact of climate change in sectors and systems at the national level, in which it is necessary to reduce adverse impacts on human health and safety, agriculture, forestry, traffic and road infrastructure, energy, urban planning and development and biodiversity.

As the government announced, an integral part of the Program for the period from 2023 to 2030 is the Action Plan for its implementation, which covers the period from 2024 to 2026. The action plan contains 25 measures, as well as a time frame for their implementation and monitoring.
