Company from Serbia Gives Up on Purchase of Montenegrin Prva Banka

The company from Serbia which was interested in the purchase of a qualified stake of up to 50% in Prva Banka has given up on that request, sent to Centralna Banka Crne Gore (CBGC), the Pobjeda daily writes.

CBCG has not specified which Serbian company was interested in purchasing the shares of Prva Banka.

– The submitter of the request during the carrying out of the procedure of the examination of the fulfillment of the proscribed requirements for the issuing of an approval gave up on the request in mid-November, so CBCG adopted the decision by which the procedure is terminated – the highest monetary institution said.

They added that there had been no other requests for issuing an approval regarding the intention to purchase the shares of Prva Banka.
