The first public invitations within the IPARD III cycle are expected by the end of the year, first for Measure 1, for which there is the most interest among the users, and then for the other re-accredited measures as well, announced the IPARD Managing Authority in the latest bulletin.

The investments which will be supported through the IPARD III program will pertain to the procurement of equipment, machines and mechanization, the construction and reconstruction of production and side facilities, which will considerably contribute to reaching European standards in hygiene, food safety, animal welfare, environmental protection, as well as the strengthening of agricultural producers and processors for the placement of products on the EU market.

At the initiative of agricultural producers, one of the innovations of the IPARD III program is the inclusion of drones as an investment that is acceptable within Measure 1.

The investments supported within the IPARD III program will be presented on the List of Acceptable Investments and Costs, which is published as an addendum to the rulebook for the implementation of each of the investment measures of the IPARD III program (Measure 1, Measure 3 and Measure 7). Unlike the previous program period, in which the List of Acceptable Investments and Costs was approved by the European Commission, in the IPARD III program, the European Commission submitted the categories of acceptable investments and costs, and the IPARD Managing Authority further developed them.

The new approach to the preparation of the list of acceptable investments and costs will enable a constant introduction of new technologies and processes of agricultural production, considering that, without the implementation of modern technologies, it is very hard to achieve the kinds of good results that are expected in today’s market-oriented agriculture. At the initiative of agricultural producers, one of the innovations of the IPARD III program is the inclusion of drones as an investment that is acceptable within Measure 1.
