The inflation in Serbia in October amounted to 8.5%, stated the minister of finance of Serbia, Sinisa Mali, the competent ministry announced.

– What I want to emphasize is great news for the citizens, which is that, according to a flash estimate of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, the inflation in October amounted to 8.5%. It had dropped from 10.2%, which is what it was in September. That is a joint success of us all. We expected a single-digit inflation in December, but obviously, all the measures we have taken in the past few months have produced results – Mali said.

The slowing down of the inflation, he pointed out, is going faster than the expect dynamics.
