Hotel Splendid in Belgrade Available for Sale Again – Initial Price EUR 2.9 Million

DT Properties New Belgrade has advertised the sale of Hotel Splendid in Belgrade, at an initial price of EUR 2.9 million.

The hotel is to be sold through public bidding, together with an office building.

DT Properties bought Hotel Splendid, also at a public bidding, three years ago, for RSD 278 million (around EUR 2.35 million). That was the second sale of the hotel at 5 Dragoslava Jovanovica Street, because the first one had been unsuccessful, so the building was offered at a lower price.

The five-story hotel has a total net area of 1,145 m2. It was raised by the tailors Trifun Jovanovic and Zivota Lazarevic in 1921 and it was nationalized in 1948. The hotel was privatized for the first time in 2008, but that contract was terminated.

Along with the hotel, the offer includes a ground floor business services building, which consists of a warehouse and two offices, with an area of 156 m2, at 7A and 7/1 Dragoslava Jovanovica Street.

The public bidding is scheduled for December 11.
