Mega Home Center to Open Its Biggest Store in Zemun – Investment Worth EUR 40 Million Planned

The new retail chain, Mega Home Center, is opening its biggest store on November 8 in Zemun. This is the company which is opening the city “Cash & Carry” facilities, and it currently has stores in Mirijevo and Vozdovac.

The new store is located at 56 Dobanovacka Street in Zemun. It spreads on 1,000 m2, has its own parking lot and an offer of over 15,000 articles.

In addition to food and non-food items, a special corner is established for HoReCa customers. The company has become the general representative of several companies from Europe, so that many new products in the food category can only be found in these stores.

Immediately after the opening of the store in Zemun, the opening of a new store in Kaludjerica is being prepared.

In addition to the opening of big-format stores, Mega has commenced the biggest investment project of the opening of retail facilities in Serbia, called Megica – Mega Marketic, worth EUR 40 million. The plan is to open 300 facilities in the next three years, of which 120 in Belgrade and 180 in other towns in Serbia. The stores are smaller in format, from 100 m2 to 200 m2, and will be positioned in busy locations.
