Vesic: 230 Kilometers of Fast Railroad to Nis to Be Built Next Year

We are currently building 108 kilometers toward Subotica, which we will complete next year and we are starting to build 230 kilometers of the fast railroad to Nis, announced the minister of construction, transport and infrastructure of Serbia, Goran Vesic.

At the official academy held yesterday to mark the Day of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Belgrade, he said that the designing of the fast route toward Sofia was being done at that moment and that, together with the EU, there were efforts toward building 135 kilometers of the fast railroad toward Skopje, announced the website of the ministry.

Vesic also mentioned projects that the competent ministry had initiated with foreign companies working on big projects in Serbia, among them a project with Chinese companies.

– In a month, we will open the call, for both students and assistant professors and full-time professors, who will spend up to a month doing professional practice on projects that those companies carry out in both China and other countries – Vesic said.
