Traders question margins

Serbian minister of trade, tourism and services Bojan Dimitrijevic announced that representatives of the most significant trade chains in Serbia made a commitment to question over the politics of margins, and the government won't for now make any administrative limitations of margins.
He said that there had been a meeting between the ministers of trade and financies and their associates and representatives of great trade chains, among whom were Mercator, Veropolus, Delta, C market, Rodic, Jabuka, as well as representatives of Society of small traders. Dimitrijevic said that the request of the Government representatives had been to decrease margins for key life groceries on the average level of around 15% and that they had been given a promise of traders they would think about this request.
Dimitrijevic pointed that it had been agreed also more reguler maintenance of meetings and consultations regarding the politics of development of our trade chains and trade conditions and he expressed his belief that those coordinations would allow them to meet their politic with economic politics of the Government of Serbia. It has been concluded to form one control samle of basic life groceries which would use to follow the behaviour of traders.
