The bills of 50,100 and 200 dinars with NBJ mark are being withdrawed

The National bank of Serbia, will in the period from April,1st - December, 31st, 2006, gradually withdraw from circulation the bills of 50,100 and 200 dinars, with the mark "National bank of Yugoslavia".

These bills will by the end of the year stay legal means of paying, with whome all cash payments could be done.

This means that within this period of time, of their gradual withdrawal, the official exchangers, traders and other service providers from legal persons and civilians could accept payments with the bills that have marking of "National bank of Yugoslavia", and are of 50,100 and 200 dinars.

During this gradual withdrawak, offices of BNS, banks and official exchange offices won't be putting in circulation those bills.

After January,1st, 2007 when payments with the bills of 50,100 and 200 with markings of NBJ won't be possible anymore, the citizens would be able to exchange these bills for valid circulating biils in all banks and offices of NBS from December, 31st, 2007.

After this deadline the exchange of the bills would be possible till December, 31st, 2012, but only in NBS's headquarters - Direction for vault business.
