Vranje-based Simpo, the biggest furniture manufacturer in Serbia, has arranged a EUR 2 million deal with companies from Russia, an agreement on which was signed yesterday in Vranje.

That agreement was signed by representatives of Simpo and large Russian companies Italika and IP. The deal was agreed after the partners from Russia had toured all Simpo factories and got familiar with the capacities and work organization of the Serbian furniture manufacturer.

The partners from Russia are satisfied with the opportunity to cooperate with the Serbian company, which is considered a famous furniture manufacturer in Europe.

After signing the agreement, Simpo CEO Sladjan Disic said that it was the beginning of a big deal that was promising to return Simpo to the market of Russia.

- Aside from the furniture sales, we are ambitiously entering the Russian market with our capacities for furnishing the hotels and large business centers so that we see this agreed deal only as the foundations for future cooperation with the Russian partners - said Disic.

He stressed that Simpo was able to deliver 25 to 30 million euros worth of furniture to the market of Russia.
