Average Salary in Serbia in July RSD 83,781, Median Salary RSD 64,734

Average gross salaries and wages calculated for July 2023 amounted to RSD 115,664, while average net salaries and wages amounted to RSD 83,781, announced the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia.

Increase of gross salaries and wages, and net salaries and wages, in the period January–July 2023, relative to the same period last year, amounted to 15.3% in nominal terms, i.e. 0.3% in real terms.

Compared with the same month last year, average gross salaries and wages and net salaries and wages for July 2023 increased by 14.6% in nominal terms, and 1.9% in real terms, the Statistical Office says.

Median net salaries and wages for July 2023 amounted to RSD 64,734, meaning that 50% of employees realized wages and salaries up to the mentioned amount.
