Potato chips factory in Cacak for sale - Value estimated at EUR 4.76 million

The bankruptcy administration of Cacak-based Slap Group, the private factory of potato chips, flips and other salty snacks, has advertised the sale of that factory.
The court experts have assessed that the factory's property is worth EUR 4.76 million, and the bids of interested potential buyers will be collected starting from July 6, people at the administration of Slap Group told Beta news agency.
The factory, popularly called Cipsara by the citizens of Cacak, was set up in 1971 under the name of PIK Cacak and it was one of the most successful companies in the region.
Slavisa Puric from Belgrade acquired that factory in 2005 by purchasing the majority package of shares and renamed it into Slap Group. Due to EUR 15 million debts to creditors and blocked account, bankruptcy proceedings were commenced on October 26, leaving 137 workers without job.
