American government asigned 24.5 millions dollars as help to the counties in Serbia

In Serbia will soon start with work a National alliance for the local economic development (NALED), through which American agency for international development (USAID) would provide financial and technical help to the elected counties in Serbia. As announced in the MEGA program, within the office of USAID in Belgrade, American government has asigned to the first ten counties of Serbia chosen for this program, around 24.5 millions dollars. Project NALED in the first three years would include a development of 10 counties in Serbia - Novi Beograd, Indjija, Zrenjanin, Subotica, Loznica, Kragujevac, Uzice, Krusevac, Prokuplje and Vranje. In the second phase, which would last around two years, it will finance through partnershop with local departments and non-government organizations, economic development of 14 counties more in Serbia, as announced by the representatives of the MEGA program.
