Investors from Chicago Arrive to Leskovac for Construction of Serbian Factory of Solar Cars

The organization “Vrati se kuci/Srbska mreza”, after about eight months of preparation, has managed to bring over Dejan Vuksanovic, known to the public for buying the OFK Beograd football club upon his return from Chicago, where he had worked for decades, and Sasa Milovancevic, who designed Lexsus and named it, as the president of this organization, Milan Ljubicic, said at the “Dani paprike” event in Donja Lokosnica.

Ljubicic said that they had come for the investment and the construction of a new Serbian factory of solar cars and that Leskovac had been selected as one of the towns with the potential and the conditions for that investment, of great importance for the whole Serbia and the region, to be realized.

– We have already had a third meeting with the mayor, this time with the gentlemen investors, the meeting went very well, the disagreements were overcome, those potential ones which had occurred before, and everything is agreed on the operating level, so on the level of the local self-government, this project is to be realized, and we’ve also received a promise on the level of republic authorities – Ljubicic pointed out.

While Ljubicic was making his statement, the mayor of Leskovac, Goran Cvetanovic, was present as well, but he didn’t address the journalists, which means that he neither confirmed nor denied this announcement.

A local medium, Jugmedia, announced this investment before, but there was no official confirmation from the local self-government that time either.
