Tax Administration Commences Procedures of Determining Irregularities on Jobs of Control of VAT Recovery

The Tax Administration has notified the public that, at the end of last year and the beginning of the current one, it commenced the procedures of determining irregularities in the operations of certain public servants hired for the jobs of VAT recovery.

According to the website of the Tax Administration, upon the completion of the procedures of the Internal Control Department of the Tax Administration, the full documentation, as well as the reports on the subjects in which it was concluded that there was basis for suspicion that those persons had committed criminal acts, was submitted to the Special Department for Suppression of Corruption of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade.

The Tax Administration of the Republic of Serbia will keep controlling the legality of the operations of public servants and, as was the case here, notify the competent organs of all the determined irregularities, it is added on the official portal of the Tax Administration.
