RES Serbia Announces Program of RES SERBIA 2023 Conference – Serbia After the Auctions and Europe After the Energy Crisis

The conference will be opened by the president of the Management Board of RES Serbia, Milos Colic, the acting director of EPS, Dusan Zivkovic, the regional director for the Western Balkans at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Matteo Colangeli, and the minister of mining and energy of Serbia, Dubravka Djedovic.
When are the new wind turbines to arrive? When are the new construction sites to open? Who is financing the new projects and how? When will the first big solar power plant be built? What is the fate of 20-GW demands for connections? These and many other questions will be answered at the conference, which will gather as many as 400 participants this year.
The current topics will be discussed at five panel discussions: The State in the RES Sector – Serbia, the Region and Europe; Wind Energy – Serbia After the Auctions and Europe After the Energy Crisis; The Challenges of Financing RES Projects; Solar Energy in Serbia – The First Auctions, Small and Large Solar Power Plants; Electrical Energy Market 3.0.
Among the 30 panelists and moderators are representatives of EMS, EPS, SEEPEX, as well as the international institutions the European Investment Bank, the EBRD, the Energy Community Secretariat, the IFC, associations which gather the biggest players in the wind and sun industry in Europe and the region, such as SolarPower Europe, WindEurope, RES Croatia, and the investors and equipment producers Nordex Region Mediterranean, Elicio, Enlight, GE Vernova, Masdar, CWP Global, New Energy Solutions. There are also the most important representatives of local banks which finance RES projects, lawyers and consultancies.
