Tender for Second Phase of Reconstruction and Construction of Clinical Center of Serbia Reopened – Job Worth EUR 10.5 Million

The Ministry of Health has opened a new public procurement procedure for the reconstruction and construction of a part of the IIa phase of the Clinical Center of Serbia.

The previous tender, which opened in June, and in response to which two bids were sent, one of which was not acceptable, was stopped because, according to the explanation, “the procuring entity made an error in carrying out the procedure by issuing to the bidder whose bid was not rejected as unacceptable the confirmation for whose issuing there was no basis, according to the Public Procurement Commission.”

– In order for this kind of a mistake to be avoided in the repeated procedure, the Commission believes that there needs to be a more precise definition of the criteria for the qualification of the business entity and the manner of proving that those criteria are fulfilled – says the decision on the termination of the procedure.

Now the estimated value of the job has been announced as well, amounting to RSD 1.23 billion (around EUR 10.5 million). The works within phase IIa encompass the remaining strengthening of the structure of the facility of the entire phase II and changes in the space of the Nuclear Medicine, which took place within phase I.
