Consortium “Excellent 3” is the First Serbian Supercluster – What Does This Mean for the Local Economy?

A jury consisting of international experts in the field of technological development and innovations have selected the consortium “Excellent 3” as the first Serbian supercluster. Among the consortiums in four technological domains – high technology in agriculture and food industry, gaming environment and virtual reality, advanced solutions in medical technology and biotechnology and web 3 and blockchain technology, the winning team comes from the final category.

The decision about the selection of the winner was reached after detailed presentations and with compliance with all the important criteria for a long-term sustainability of superclusters.

– This cluster is something that has a real effect on the community and visibly moves things in a good direction – says Nemanja Petrovic, the COO of Moonstruck.

In an interview for Telegraf Biznis, he explains that the supercluster “Excellent 3” networks the actors within the ecosystem to the end of joint growth, exchange of knowledge and joint ventures in the global market.

When it comes to the precondition for somebody to become part of the supercluster, he says that “for now, it’s enough for you to find this topic interesting and to want to take part in the activities which are organized by the team of the supercluster Excellent 3.”

– For those who are not from the industry, and are interested in following the trends and the development of this technology, the cluster is an ideal place where they can learn about it. Industry representatives are welcome, because we, as a small country with a big potential and brilliant individuals, can do much more if we have a joint and organized presentation in the global market. The idea is to develop the best model of cooperation in the coming period, which will suit everybody interested the most – he clarifies.

He says that the supercluster Excellent 3 better positions the market of Serbia by providing greater adaptability and capability of Serbia to recognize and utilize the potential in the field of web 3 and blockchain technology.

He adds that he will invest his time and energy in the three strategic directions of the supercluster “Excellent 3”: people, knowledge and business.

He concludes that “the combining of AI with other technologies, such as, among other things, web 3, will be the next step in the development of new services.”
