DEG, state's German investing-developing company, which has been present in Serbia since 2001, over the ownership of 20% in Eskim bank, opened an office in Serbia. Milos Stevanovic is the representative of DEG's Belgrade office, the only one in South Eastern Europe.

As part of KFW bank group, even in the first year it plans ivestments up to 150 millions eur. If there are quality programs for financing, the specified figure will probably be over passed.

The jobs are realized according to the clients' needs in 3 ways: first, through ownership share in the companies; second, subordinated credit lines with possibility of conversion of debt into ownership share; and third one, through classical long term credits of business banks and companies for the projects related to finishing of capitalization or expansion of business, for programs which are on long term arrangements. DEG's approach understands a partnership relations with clients and it is interested in coownership or ownership in good companies and banks, which are ready to stand up with the existing market competition.
