Smoked ham, cheese and truffles from Istra - Days of Istra at Zemun-based Saran restaurant between May 16 and 23

Beneath the Gardos tower, at the Zemun quay, the Days of Istra in Belgrade event will be held from May 16 to 23. The host is Saran restaurant, which depicts the soul of Zemun and the genuine spirit of fishermen in the right way. The restaurant has an open-air section and a balcony with the magnificent view of the Danube so that this interesting event perfectly fits into the whole ambient.

Visitors of the event will have an opportunity to enjoy the specialties of Istra, which will be prepared by master chefs from this Croatian peninsula. Top chefs from restaurants Buscina and Stari Podrum, situated near Umag, will reveal the secrets of the most tasteful dishes of Istra to guests. In addition to specialties, famous truffles, sea fruits and stuffed cheese, people will also enjoy the wines made by Kozlovic wine cellar, one of the most famous in Istra.

Groceries, which will be turned by chefs from Istra into tasteful dishes by traditional recipes, will be brought directly from the largest peninsula in Croatia.
