U.S. manufacturer of IoT devices comes to Serbia

Ikotek USA, one of the leading ODM (Original Design Manufacturers) of devices for IoT (Internet of Things) and providers of EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) from the United States, has announced its arrival in Belgrade.

- The goal of our presence in Serbia is to increase Ikotek's ability to assist European clients by providing them with stronger support in the areas of design, development and consultation for IoT solutions - the San Diego-based company announced.

As per the announcement, Serbia has proven to be an ideal destination for Ikotek's expansion, and the reason lies in favorable business environment, strong infrastructure and a policy that supports innovation.

The announcement also states that Ikotek's presence in Serbia creates employment opportunities.

Ikotek has strengthened its EMEA management team by bringing in Vladimir Rakic as Director of Research and Development in the EMEA region, and Jura Gantar as Director of Sales.
The establishment of an office in Belgrade is expected to open a significant number of highly qualified job opportunities in the region, further strengthening Serbia's position as a technology center for the development of embedded IoT solutions for leading OEM manufacturers.

The company plans to collaborate with local educational institutions and organizations to provide training and mentoring, nurturing the next generation of technical talent and encouraging innovation in Serbia.
