Ruma-Sabac highway opens for traffic in October - The completion of the section to Loznica announced for late 2024

The construction of the Ruma-Sabac highway, around 21 km long, is nearing completion, so the road will be open to traffic by late October, announced the Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Goran Vesic.

- On the route, two layers of asphalt were made on about 20 km out of a total of 21 km. The production of the final layer of asphalt is underway and so far about 2.5 km of the final layer of asphalt has been done in the entire profile - wrote Vesic on his Instagram profile.

He added that there are a total of 14 bridge structures on the route, plus an approach bridge structure and a bridge over the Sava River.

- The construction of the Sabac-Loznica expressway will be completed by the end of 2024 - announced Vesic.
