State Increasing Capacity of Oil Product Storage Site in Prahovo – Tender for Designing Another Two Tanks of 20,000 m2 Each Published

The Directorate for Goods Reserves of the Republic of Serbia has opened the public procurement procedure for the preparation of the project documentation for the construction of two tanks of 20,000 m3 each with the accompanying infrastructure at the oil product storage site in Prahovo.

Oil products are delivered, stored and sent off from the Prahovo storage site. The basic manner of the delivery of the oil products and mazut is by water, on barges. The oil products are loaded into the storage space – tanks – from the vessels.

The storage capacity for oil products at the Prahovo storage site, following the reconstruction, is 23,400 m3 in total.

According to the tendering documentation, the construction of new tanks aims to increase the storage space and reach the capacity in line with the EU requirements.

The realization of the planned investment entails the preparation of the project documentation for two tanks of 20,000 m2 each (R8 and R9), with steel bunding (“cup within a cup”), with the necessary infrastructure which would connect to the existing infrastructure of the storage site.

Bids may be sent by July 11.
