Belgrade to Provide RSD 210 Million for Services of Informing Passengers in Public Transport Vehicles

The Secretariat for Public Transport of the City Administration of Belgrade has published the tender for the services of informing the users of public transport through announcements inside the public transport vehicles.

According to the tendering documentation, the estimated value of the job is RSD 210 million, and the general agreement is to be signed with one bidder for a period of 12 months.

According to the specification, with the introduction of a new system of charging for public transport, the users are not sufficiently informed about the borders of the zones, the types of fares and the manner of their use, the conditions of using the vehicles and the ticket collection, passenger control and service sale system.

– The aim of the procurement procedure is to achieve reliable channels of communication with the users, that is, to introduce the users to all the changes within the new system of charging for transport, increasing the citizens’ trust and increasing the income from ticket sales, so that the public transport in Belgrade would be better, representative and recognizable – the document says.

As further added, the bidder is obliged to organize, for the needs of the Procuring Entity, the preparation of visual solutions for advertising (static and animated), advertising on ad surfaces such as posters, lit panels, digital displays, inside all types of public transport vehicles with messages aimed at the users of public transport in Belgrade.

– The bidder is to carry out the services of informing the users of public transport through announcements inside the public transport vehicles successively, on a monthly level for the duration of the validity of the general agreement/contract – says the job specification.
