German Investor from Automotive Industry to Build Factory in Industrial Zone in Preljina – Opening Announced for Next Summer

The German investor, whose arrival to Cacak was recently announced by the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, will build a facility in the Industrial Zone in Preljina, said the mayor of Cacak, Milun Todorovic.

According to him, the talks with the German investor had been going on for a very long time, the investor comes from the automotive industry, and it is a high-tech company. The factory will be built on 11 hectares, on 60,000 square meters of production and business space, in several phases. The expectations are that around 800 workers will be employed.

Todorovic added that representatives of the company had visited Cacak on several occasions in the past several years, visiting high schools and faculties with city representatives, and that they were very satisfied that dual education had been implemented.

– In the labor market, but also at faculties, they will be looking for labor force, and of course, through additional education in both Cacak and Germany, they will create new value, but also quality highly-educated people who will do this important job. For a start, in the next several months, they will open a company here in Cacak and take in around 20 engineers who will set up the system. In the autumn, the foundation stone is expected to be installed, and as soon as next summer, we will attend the opening of this large factory, which will mean a lot, not just for our city, but also for the whole Serbia, because this is truly a phenomenal company – concluded Todorovic.
