Russian Yandex to Open Biggest International Office in Belgrade

Andrey Snigirev, a director at Yandex, has presented to the mayor of Belgrade, Aleksandar Sapic, the plans of the company, which is to open its largest international office in Serbia in two days, Beoinfo reports.

At the meeting, there was talk about the cooperation of the City of Belgrade and this company, which would additionally increase the efficiency and sustainability of urban mobility in the city.


Snigirev invited the mayor to visit the company’s engineering company, where he could see the technology and learn about all the possibilities of state-of-the-art solutions and their potential impact on the urban transport.

It was pointed out that cooperation with Yandex would be of considerable use for Belgrade and its residents, setting the Serbian capital as a leader in innovative and urban development.

Let us remind that the global IT company Yandex announced in late 2022 the opening of the development center in Serbia, where over 800 engineers would be employed, working on the most modern IT solutions.

Yandex is a Russian international corporation which specializes in internet services and products. Yandex runs the biggest search engine in Russia, with around 60% of the market share in that country.

They also produce a large number of internet services and products.
