NBS: Foreign Investors Believe That Serbia Deserves Investment Grade

The foreign investors with whom representatives of the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) and the Ministry of Finance talked in London believe that Serbia deserves an investment grade.

Serbia’s delegation met with 75 investors at the Frontier Markets Conference organized by JP Morgan in London.

– All investors concluded that Serbia’s macroeconomic fundamentals are excellent and that an investment grade is long-deserved. In their view, Serbia is a highly positive example of a country that has achieved a lot in the past years. The investors noted that the Serbian authorities have undertaken all measures at hand to preserve the economy from the fallout of strong global shocks – says the press release of the NBS.
