Construction of National Volleyball Training Center Begins in New Belgrade – 20,300 m2 to Be Raised Along Tosin Bunar Street

The foundation stone for the construction of the National Volleyball Training Center in New Belgrade, along Tosin Bunar Street, has been laid down, and the deadline for the completion of the works is slightly under two years.

The National Training Volleyball Center will have an area of 20.3 thousand square meters, and the value of the project is EUR 22.4 million, the Government announced.

The center will have three training rooms, two beach volleyball rooms, accommodation facilities for athletes, accompanying sports facilities and associated office space, i.e. a medical center, a gym, a sports clinic and two garages.

The project envisages the construction of a training and tournament hall with three courts and 1,450 spectator seats, a small training hall (two courts), accommodation capacities for athletes, hotels, as well as accompanying features – a medical center, a gym and offices.

The complex also encompasses two garages, with a total of 53 parking spaces for cars, as well as the construction of an outdoor parking lot, with a capacity of 120 parking spaces for cars and four for buses.

The author of the preliminary design of the complex is Page Consortium, led by Djuradj Vasic, whereas the preparation and the implementation of the urban project was realized by Energoprojekt Urbanizam i arhitektura.
