First mosque for Gypsies on the Balkans is being built in Bujanovac

The president of Islamic religious union fro Bujanovac, Presevo and Medvedja, muftus Nedzmedin Sacipi, has announced that in the next half of the year will be started with construction of a mosque in Bujanovac for the Gypsies. It will be a first Gypsyies' mosque on the Balkans.

The project for the mosque is already far ahead with the plan, and as Sapici points out, for its building the Gypsies, believers, state, chairity and other donations, will secure 500.000 eur. The complex of the mosque, will beside the area for religious service have other contents, like sport fileds, library, education and entertainment rooms, as well as other forms of education of Gypsies.
